Upekkha Yoga School offers 200-hour yoga teacher training in the Philippines that is Yoga Alliance registered and built on learner-centered pedagogy. We teach to the student, not at the student, using sthira (structure, stability, skill) and sukha (ease, accessibility, sustainability) as a practical teaching framework. You'll get a strong base in practice and the real skill of teaching: clear cues, intelligent sequencing, safe alignment, and the confidence to adapt for different bodies and needs.

Where We Offer 200hr YTT

200hr YTT Davao (March 2–27, 2026) and 200hr YTT Siargao (October 5–30, 2026) are in-person, non-residential, with up to 8 people per intake. Investment ₱80,000. Same curriculum and approach at both locations. See each page for full syllabus, requirements, and how to apply.

Curriculum and Format

Our 200-hour program covers teaching skills (learner-centered cueing, regressions and progressions, class management), Hatha and Vinyasa, asana and foundations, breathwork and meditation, anatomy and biomechanics, and philosophy (Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika).
